Cache Money (8096) is a FIRST Robotics Competition team based at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools in Chicago, Illinois. We are a dedicated group of high school students, faculty coaches, and volunteer mentors united by a shared passion for robotics. We are committed to growth, innovation, and impact through STEM education. Our team provides members with valuable experience in engineering, business, leadership, and teamwork.

Cache Money is currently recruiting the next generation of curious and innovative students. All interested students are welcome, no matter your grade, age, or experience level. In the fall, come check out our booth at Club Shopping and attend our info sessions at the beginning of each school year!

Our mission
FIRST Robotics Competition Team 8096, Cache Money, is committed to providing STEM opportunities to the youngest members of the University of Chicago. We strive to immerse our members in engineering by providing the necessary design, building, and technology skills to inspire innovation and build life skills. We nurture self-confidence, communication, and leadership to empower our members. Our outreach initiatives impact our school, the South Side of Chicago community, and FIRST Robotics globally.
