Spoink (left) & Grumpig (right) [2022]
Grumpig was our 2022 off-season robot, also designed for Rapid React. It was designed to improve upon on what we had done with Spoink, as well as be used for training purposes. It was designed to aim and shoot automatically with a Limelight at multiple angles, use a color sensor for automatically ejecting the opposing cargo, climb to the high rung, and have a swerve drive train. It competed at Roboteer Rumble alongside Spoink.
Spoink was our 2022 robot, for the Rapid React game. Spoink was designed to shoot cargo in the low and high ports using a shooter and intake, as well as climb the monkey bars to the mid rung. However, it ended up largely being used as a defensive bot thanks to our driver's skills and Spoink's strong drive train.
Piggybot [2020]
Piggy Bot was our 2020 robot, designed to play Infinite Recharge. Piggy Bot was able to carry Power Cells (dodgeballs) and then dump them into a designated scoring location. It was also able to climb onto a bar and do a pull up.
